I've been working on a project for a little while now; it's a side-by-side comparison of some of my old (OLD) work versus newer remakes. The purpose is to see what has changed in terms of style and skill over the past several years, and what has remained.

I think I roll my eyes over my old work as much as anyone, but I like to keep it around. It's sort of like a travelogue of my adventures with art, and it puts my current work into perspective. Of course, one day I'll be rolling my eyes over my current work--but that's the joy of it. There's always a higher peak to reach for.

My theory: the worse your old work looks, the better you're doing. And apparently I'm doing really, really well.
